THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY
Of
THE PHILADELPHIA PROTESTANT HOME

The Women’s Auxiliary of PPh offers a variety of ways you can work to benefit the programs of PPh. Since its establishment in 1889, this group has had a tradition rich in service and community spirit. Members are involved in fundraising, social activities and direct resident service programs.

These women have helped to successfully meet the Auxiliary’s goal of contributing tens of thousands of dollars to fund the purchase of equipment, renovation projects, a van, resident amenities, support services and programs, expand social opportunities while serving as an integral component of every day “Home” life.

The Auxiliary meets at 1:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month except in July. You may bring your lunch and enjoy coffee and cake before the meeting starts.

Members of the Women’s Auxiliary provide community service in many areas:

• Several fundraisers are conducted throughout the year: card parties, clothing sales, bazaars, ham & potato salad and pork and sauerkraut dinners.

• Personal visits to residents.

• Packing and delivering gifts to residents in December.

Membership fee is $5.00.

For more information about how you can be involved, contact Hazel Clouse, President of the Women’s Auxiliary at 215-455-9544 or the PPh Receptionist at 215-697-8000.
