MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO

Welcome to the web site of The Philadelphia Protestant Home (PPh). Please take a few moments to discover the wide array of programs and services we offer to our residents and neighboring communities. PPh’s history dates back to 1889 when a group of dedicated individuals recognized and addressed the need for elder care. Since then, our community has grown and evolved; we currently have over six hundred residents in three apartment buildings, two personal care homes and Pathways, our modern, comfortable skilled nursing center. In addition, we invite our neighbors to participate in various activities, and our home and community-based Bridge to Care program continues to add new members.

Don’t let the “Protestant” in our name fool you. Yes, we are proud of our Protestant history and grounded in our Christian roots, but PPh is home to residents of many denominations and faiths. I believe our success and longevity is a result of excellent care and amenities offered at fair, affordable prices.

Thank you for checking our web site. I hope you enjoy your visit. Better yet, we hope to hear from you with any questions you may have or to arrange a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Anthony L. Manzo, President and CEO
