VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Give a hand, warm a heart, lend an ear…
BE A PPh VOLUNTEER!

Volunteers have served The Philadelphia Protestant Home faithfully since it was founded in 1890. Our volunteers come from the community, area churches, local schools and from our own residents.

Volunteers help in almost every area of our Home. Opportunities to help are available in the cafeteria, beauty shops, rehab department, gift shop, library, activities, mailroom and in many other areas.

Our volunteers touch lives and brighten hearts of those we serve. The greatest benefit you will receive when you volunteer is the personal satisfaction you will get from helping others!

Volunteers receive a lunch voucher when they work at least three hours a day. This voucher can be used in our Staff Cafeteria. For more information about our Volunteer Program, call 215-697-8027 or e-mail ccherrington@pphfamily.org.
